As I just mentioned in another thread a short time ago. There seem to be a lot of negative comments about the board coming from people who expect instant responses to their problems.

Everybody that gives help on the board clearly wants to give good advice and help out where they can, but there does seem to be a general misunderstanding as to the way the forum is run (ie unpaid assistance from professionals who drop by whenever they have time, the fact that not everybody will be an expert on EVERY area of the law, that you may in some cases get a reply within minutes, others within days, some in a week or two or for the unfortunate one or two not at all etc.). To combat this I think there should be at least some basic forum rules created, that every new member must read and agree to prior to posting, with this information included.

Or perhaps a different level of user assigned to those that give assistance as opposed to those that are seeking help to allow those giving help to be more easily identifiable (if that can indeed be done).

Hopefully a site admin will read this and give feedback?

Thanks,

Allan
