Title: Help finding a solicitor
Post by FedUp on Nov 23rd, 2007 at 11:19pm

I recently I had final proof hearing with my ex regarding our son, decree detailed he was getting rights for medical and education, his contact arrangements and that he was the dad.  He is now threatening to drag me back to court all beacue I aid he coudn't take our son swimming during his weekend as he had a cold.  My ex is an emotional bully and knows it will destroy me to go back to court, I am already on medication due to it all.

I feel the solicitor I had previously wasn't sympathetic to the problems I was going through.  Can anyone recommend a solicitor in the Renfrewshire area who supports the rights of single mums??

Try Stewart Wilson in Paisley. The difficulty you have is that a bully will often use litigation to wear you down. I knwo its easy to say but if the issue affects your child's welfare then you have a duty to protect him/her. Try taking the initiative and instead of letting him threaten you, get a lawyers letter sent recording his attitude to anything that shows bullying behaviour. Bullies don't deal well with someone standing up to them.
