Title: DIY Scottish Divorce
Post by grumpy on Dec 12th, 2007 at 11:06am
I have recently completed my own divorce using Divorce Online (check their site) It was not a quickie divorce as I have children and I was quoted 800 by my lawyer. They did it for 199 plus some court fees and they did all the paperwork. It looked complicated at first but was actually very easy and I felt hands on involved. I would heartily recommend them.

Hi,

Did you require the other person consent for it? Did the acting agent hire a tracing agent to find them to sign the papers?

Thanks.

No as it was a two year separation divorce. You only need consent if it is a one year separation. I assume you don't know your spouse's address. If so there are other ways of serving papers even without an address.
