Title: criminal procedure
Post by stu1985 on Nov 25th, 2008 at 3:28pm
hi all,

I have just joined this site, and it looks great.

I'm writing a report on criminal procedure at the moment, and was wondering if anyone is aware of there being a section in the criminal procedure (scotland) act 1995 which states that if a trial judge feels that a particular line of questioning by one side is wrong, he can intervene and make the jury leave the room? I seem to remember seeing a section specifying this, but cannot remember where I saw it.

Thanks in advance!
