Title: Working abroad
Post by jfg1703 on Feb 11th, 2009 at 11:08am
I am a paralegal with a few years experince under my belt. I have a law degree and paralegal qualifications but I'm getting a bit fed up of Scotland and was considering working abroad for a few years.

Problem obviously is I am qualified in Scots law. Has anyone ever tried moving abroad to work in a law firm and what experiences/problems have you met? Considering either Europe or America but not overly fussed where I go, just looking for a change.

Any advice appreciated.

Hey mate,

Looks like the legal industry in Australia / Asia could be something for you to look into. There's a bunch of http://www.legaljobscentre.com legal jobs that could suit you on that site if you are looking for something abroad.

Cheers,
