After House sale liability
Mar 20th, 2003 at 12:23am

Can anyone tell me what the legal position is for:-

After a property has been sold and keys and contracts exchanged - accidental damage i.e. burst pipe has occured in the empty property prior to the new owners taking residence who is liable for the costs?
