Divorce

Folks, I am now 58 years old and have been waiting for the 5 year period to elapse to start my divorce. My ex will not consent to this until the 5 year period is over. This does not give a person like myself much time to pick up the pieces and make  anew life. I am allready finding it difficult to obtain employement, and face stiff medicals on any possible work.
The law should be changed and the time limit reduced to 2 years ( without consent ) for persons over 40. The current time frame of 5 years i9s fine for those under 40 as they still have to get things back together again. As for myself, I often feel like I am running out of time.
