Problems with Scottish Law Online - Fixed?
Aug 15th, 2004 at 8:04pm

In May this year the site ran into quite serious difficulty following a dispute with its host - worldwebhosters.  I am now happy to announce that it was not possible to resolve this dispute and so have moved the entire site to a new host.  This should resolve the problems that users have experienced in the past few months.

Please let me know if you come across any aspect of the site that isn't working properly.

Incase it wasn't clear from the tone in my post above - DO NOT use worldwebhosters.com as a host - unless of course you work for the police and are investigating them for fraud!

More helpful info is available here:
http://www.webhostingreviews.com/world.shtml

If you work for or represent worldwebhosters and are concerned about anything in this post - please first respond to any of the many unanswered requests for information that I sent to your 'support' team while I was a customer and then please submit your own comments below.

Your feedback function wasn't working so I've registered here to let you know that plus the following:

Your site mentions:

"One of the exceptions to the minimum wage requirements is students undertaking work placements during the vacation periods of their course."

In fact that is not the case. The exception only applies if undertaking the work placement is an integral/compulsory part of the course ie you can't graduate without it.

The vast majority of students doing vacation work experience should be paid at least the NMW.

For more info check www.tiger.gov.uk

Hi,

I also tried to use your feedback function in order to tell you that your ADD URL function is also not working, but the feedback function is not working either!

Hope you can fix it soon....

If not, please contact me using my email address as I would like to provide you details of my company to add to the directory.

Ta,

Matt

I forgot my password and the form sent me an exception error (twice). I had to register using another email address to send you this Smiley
