Mature Students

Hi everyone,

I am just about to leave my job as a senior ICU nurse to start studying law in september.  I am feeling a little anxious about traineeship and employment prospects as I will be around 35 when its all over.  Does anyone know if this adversely affects your chances of getting a traineeship as I have read a lot about all the competition and lack of places for new graduates.

Thank you!

Hi, I would state the older one is drawn to the law the better. Many firms take on the best of trainees, many maturer and stronger life experienced trainees start and do very well.
