Employment-character called into question
Jul 21st, 2006 at 3:01pm
Its been brought to my attention that a colleague who was involved with a grievance against him has made, in the final report, remarks about another member of staff possibly think of me as 'the disloyal member of staff who he could not trust'.  The member of staff has rigoursly denied (and is nowhere in writing) that she ever said this. I am of course totally upset at this and wonder what recourse I have with this. Do i get my Union involved and bring a grievance case against this person for unsubstantiated comments which have been proven to be untrue as the other person never mentioned me. It is beleived this was said in order to take the heat of the person involved with the grievance.

Any help - grateful as ever!!
