legal advice

A nieghbour recentley used threatening behaviour towards my 10 year old daughter and 2 other girls of a similar age. She has since been charged with breach of the peace with threatening behaviour, if found guilty what could she expect to recieve in the way of sentencing bearing in mind she has already been found guilty recentley of 3 counts of breach of the peace within the same street.

It is impossible to say as every case depends on its own circumstances. Generally speaking, jail is seen as a last resort and is only used if the case is sufficiently serious or if all else has failed to stop the behaviour. A more likely outcome may be a deferred sentence for good behaviour. The court might also impose an ASBO. If she is a council tenant you and other residents could report this to the council who might (emphasis on might) take steps to evict her. We had  a neighbour like this who was evicted after a year of bad\behaviour but only because people were prepared to stand up and be counted by giving statements to the landlord who is a housing association.
