Re- Mortgaging after Sequestration
Mar 19th, 2011 at 1:56pm

I wonder if anyone can help me please. I have been registered with a Debt Recovery Company in Glasgow for 2 years now. I went through personal sequestration and was discharged last Jan but am still paying monthly payments to this company which I have been told will last 3 years in total and is therefore due to end middle of next year. My question is, the equity in my house has obviously to be released to them because of my sequestration but I am sure they told me that this would be done at the end of the 3 years that I would have been with them, now it seems that they are looking for the equity now. Can anyone help with the legalities of this? Thanks
