Job Vacancy for Legal Policy Draftsperson at MR Associates

MR Associates (www.mrassociates.org) are looking for someone to undertake the drafting of policies & procedures in a wide range of areas for one of our clients in Scotland.

An opportunity for someone who is legally competent (preferably holding a law degree) with excellent written English to undertake drafting of 20-30 documents under a short term contract possibly leading to full time work.

Knowledge and understanding of supported housing and its legal and regulatory context would be desirable. Could suit practising or non-practising solicitor, barrister or advocate (Scotland) or paralegal.

The work would entail approximately 160 hours bespoke drafting of policies in plain English using templates we will provide (working remotely or from our offices).

Hourly rate negotiable.

The client were are drafting for is a charitable organisation providing supported accommodation to men with drug and alcohol problems in Scotland. The have a range of policies that need re-drafting:
