Contact order
Feb 3rd, 2015 at 4:19pm

Hello...
I have a contact order for the up and coming mid term break, it has been in place for over 2 years. Give or take the odd hiccup it has worked well. The contact order states 1 week in the mid term break, contact is always in England. I now find the pwc does not want the contact to go ahead; as my daughter has a lot of "activities" she is nearly 11, and doesn't want to go to England. No alternative has been suggested, such as me staying in Scotland for the week, to supervise these "actiities" ...
The courts have decided when I should see my daughter and have put no restrictions on where we go within the UK. If we go abroad I have to provide the country, hotel name and so on....

I'm now in a position where I can't say when, or where I will next see my daughter, when speaking to her, which is highly unsatisfactory.

My understanding is there is little I can do legally before next Friday....the clock is ticking.

Any suggestions ?

Contempt of court is one route, but is there anything else ? The case has been closed by the Sheriff...I was mistaken in thinking it was sisted.

Negotiation is not an option, it's typically my way or no way. This is what took us to court in the first place 5 years ago... The concern I have unless I do something pretty quickly Easter...Summer and so on will become a lottery, which is, and I quote the well worn phrase "not in the best interests of the child"

Help / advice appreciated...

BB
