I will probably get laughed at, but ill ask anyway! Wink
Does anyone know what DLA, as in the law firm, stands for? I cant find it anywhere!thanxs

It used to stand for Dibb Lupton Alsop but I think they dropped that in 2000 but it may have been earlier.

In Scotland, they gained a presence in buying the commercial arm of Bird Semple (I think it was) and called themselves DLA (Scotland).

They are an England/Scotland firm with regional offices but have quite a reasonable presence in London.
