Leisure club terms and conditions - cancellation
Jul 2nd, 2008 at 6:08pm

I've decided to cancel a leisure club membership after 10 years due to lack of use.   I canceled  my DD and wrote to them.  I'm now being told I need to give two months notice per their Terms and Conditions.   I read their T & C as published on their website which makes no mention of these cancellation conditions.   However, they have now emailed me saying that the cancellation condition is on the application for I signed 10 years ago.

Am I bound by the T & C of 10 years ago when there are more recent T & C published on the website ?   What sanction can they take if I simply ignore their demand for another two months subscriptions ?

Thanks in anticipation, and apologies for such a trivial matter compared to some of the more serious issues on here.

Andrew
