Hello
A neighbour of mine ordered some goods from a mail-order supplier, but they failed to arrive.
She phoned them up, and the company said they had posted them a couple of weeks ago by second class post, but they had not asked for (paid for) recorded delivery, nor had they obtained a proof of posting.
The company is refusing to send replacements, and my neighbour (an older lady) is now out of pocket.
What are her rights? Does the seller have to replace them even though there's no proof of posting?
Thanks.
