What is the LLB?
Bachelor of Laws Degree (Ordinary)

An Ordinary degree is obtained by sitting and passing the Law Society's required Core subjects over three years at one of the above approved Universities in Scotland.

Bachelor of Laws Degree (Honours)

An Honours degree begins the same as the Ordinary and lasts for four years. During the third year, students begin their chosen Honours subjects (the number varies at each institution as too does the method of examination) which are available in a wide variety of courses at a higher level than was examined in the earlier years.
