Comments... Excellent site with brief descriptions of all the partners and associates and pictures of most of them. Good information on the many types of work handled with, in some cases, notes of the clients a well. It also boasts a very extensive "Know How" section featuring checklists and information on various areas of law including setting up a business, running your business, intellectual property and IT, IT and the internet, and property Matters. Each of these is very extensive with many subsections but despite the quantity of information it is easy to find your way around. The recruitment section also has a guide to applying to firms. A slight minus point is that the "What's New" item on the opening page (about a merger with Mackay Simon) is actually 6 months old. The design is OK but not inspired.

The Tours are also published along with a much more detailed commentary in the Internet Newsletter for Lawyers which has been awarded Best Legal Journal for 2001 by the British and Irish Association of Law Librarians (BIALL). The newsletter features articles and stories from lawyers in the UK on topical issues affecting the legal internet and the information technology world. To find out how to subscribe, click here.
