Comments... Good information on the types of work carried out and on partners, with pictures. There is a nice "next" facility in case anyone wants to look at all the partners in turn! Good design, although the fact that each area of practice has a different background colour is slightly distracting. The private client section is particularly bright (wear sunglasses when viewing it!) A large selection of legal links. Many publications, bulletins and newsletters available online although quite a few of these are rather old (e.g. 1999 or even earlier). Also has an e-update facility on your chosen area of law. The site conforms to the "Web Accessibility Initiative Guidelines" - designed to be usable by partially sighted people. Thus, for example, there is a description of a small Flash movie which a computer can "read aloud" for a person who cannot see it. Full marks for this.

The Tours are also published along with a much more detailed commentary in the Internet Newsletter for Lawyers which has been awarded Best Legal Journal for 2001 by the British and Irish Association of Law Librarians (BIALL). The newsletter features articles and stories from lawyers in the UK on topical issues affecting the legal internet and the information technology world. To find out how to subscribe, click here.
